What does a wedding coordinator do and why would I need one??

You’re in the midst of planning your wedding. You’ve hired the DJ and the photographer. You’re gathering up your candles, guest book and decor. You’re designing a vision for what it will all look like. You just need someone to come and tie it all together in the end. Someone to act as your liaison and spokesperson. Someone who you’ve gotten to know and trust and who has grown to know you and your likes and dislikes. Someone to make everything in your mind’s eye work - so that you get to live out the beautiful, and well organized, day of your dreams - you know, actually relax and enjoy your own wedding?? That’s where I come in…

Putting myself in the place of a bride, I would want my people enjoying their day either hanging out with me or getting glammed somewhere. I would NOT want any of them working all day!

As your wedding day coordinator, I oversee all of the logistics that go on during your day. I am here to take away your stress and possibly even put out fires that you never knew existed. I make sure the plans you’ve made get executed flawlessly. I’m also pretty good about finding those missing details that need to get sorted out before the big day to make it a success. From set up to tear down, I’m your eyes and ears all day long making sure your guests are having the best time.

This day is about family, friends and love. That’s why I do this. I love being the one to run the last minute errands and do the tedious decor setup. The one to make sure the cake arrives and the DJ has everything he needs. The one who can tell the little flower girl a joke when she’s nervous about walking down the aisle, then congratulating her later when she pulls it off without a hitch. I love being the one to see the bride and groom across the crowded reception room having a blast because they have nothing to worry about except living in this moment, right now. It’s a true honor to get to be that person.
