It’s so exciting when your work gets noticed! Here are some wedding moments I’ve had that have made it to the spotlight and I am very proud of. I work extremely hard on each wedding I am hired to coordinate and it’s always wonderful to be recognized for that hard work and be able to share it.

Voyagemichigan magazine

What an honor and a privilege to be featured in a magazine! This publication prides itself on featuring “hidden gems” who are out here working their hardest for their clients that they care so much about. This article tells my whole story, from beginning to end.

Matt & jenna

This industrial style wedding was held at Jam Handy in Detroit, MI on Nov. 3, 2018. It was such a unique venue and the industrial style decor worked perfectly in this space. From the exposed brick, exposed pipes and a tropical garden oasis on the 2nd floor, this venue was filled with character and charm at every turn. In sticking with her environmentally friendly green theme, Jenna designed her concept to a tee with all of the collected bottles she had for the tables and the brick table numbers that her dad pulled from old streets. They opted for bamboo plates and also cut into a pie, instead of a cake, for a more unique touch.

Thanks to my good friend and photographer, Ruby at Ruby Hotelling Photography, this wedding was published in two different publications: Modernweddings.com and OhLovelyDayMag.com. It was an honor being part of this special day for Matt & Jenna and getting to work in one of Detroit’s hidden gems!

Scott & Jacki

I was so fortunate to have the opportunity to coordinate a backyard wedding back in September, 2018. It was the most beautiful wedding! It took place in the bride’s (Jacki’s) parents backyard with lots of land where they were able to set up a huge tent for the reception, while the ceremony was just outside of the tent in open air. Even though I can’t claim that I had anything to do with it, we had the best weather ever!! The day went so smoothly and everyone had a great time. The attention to detail that this mom and daughter had for this wedding was outstanding - from the ceremony backdrop with hay bales and a tractor, to the pumpkins everywhere and even blankets for guests when the sun went down….everything was so well thought out, making my job easy!

I also had the pleasure of working with photographer Madalyn Muncy, of m.muncy studios. She captured some fabulous photos of this unique wedding and also was kind enough to mention me and my work in an article she wrote. Cory & Brian

This wedding took place at the Indian Springs Metropark in White Lake, MI. Talk about beautiful natural scenery for a wedding! This outdoor ceremony happened on a very warm October day and was simply perfect. The space inside the Environmental Discovery Center at the Metropark is awesome for a reception, with its many, many windows overlooking the swampy forrest outside. This was my first time there and it was a wonderful place to work and set up a gorgeous wedding for a terrific couple. I got to know Cory & Brian pretty well throughout our time spent together during our various pre-wedding meetings and they are such a fun, sweet and adorable couple. I was so honored to get to play a part in making their wedding day dreams come true.

Again, I got to work with the fabulous Madalyn Muncy who took some amazing photos of their special day and wrote a great article about it, including kind words said about me :). Thank you Madalyn for capturing this wedding so exquisitely and thank you Cory & Brian for entrusting your wedding day to me, Madalyn and the other awesome vendors we got to work with that day. Dominique & Yoseph

A fairytale of a wedding…
This wedding was picture perfect from beginning to end, starting with the amazing weather we had on this warm October day. Dominique was a true princess and tailored her music around Disney! A very special thank you to the Rondo String Quartet for providing beautiful renditions of Disney classics at their cocktail hour.

The quartet also played the ceremony music, as Yoseph and his parents walked down the aisle to the “Legend of Zelda Medley”, followed by the bridal party walking to “SkyFall”. Next was the bride and her parents walking to “When You Wish Upon a Star” (yeah, that was magical). The recessional song was “Raiders March” from Indiana Jones. The music selections for this wedding were spot on and so fun.

The Rondo String Quartet wrote about this wedding on their blog and said the kindest words about me! Greatly appreciated! I can’t wait to work with them again and witness these 4 awesome professional ladies use their talents to make another one of my couple’s dreams come true.
